We
all know the Sun is a star, a star that centers our solar system. The sun is
the force that sustains life on our planet Earth. When you start to introspect
and think about the origins of life the first thing that comes to mind is, how did life begin? There are still many unsolved mysteries about this but one thing
is for sure, and that is the presence of our Sun. The Sun is the ultimate
driving force for all forms of life on this planet and the life of the planet
its self. From everything to the size, location and the chemical composition of
the sun is perfect, any other combination and we would not be here today and I
would not be sitting here writing this.
My inspiration for this post came
from the thought of being thankful and grateful. I wanted to talk about
something that everyone can be grateful for and the first that came to my mind
was the Sun. What I appreciate most about the Sun is its mere presence. Think
about it, on days when the sun is shining you feel genuinely happy, and on days
when it’s cloudy and gloomy we feel a little down. Sure the rain is enjoyable
but there is just something about the sun; feeling its warmth on your face
is one of the most rejuvenating feelings in the world.
If you can’t think of anything else
to be grateful for, be grateful for the Sun. Life goes on, we live each day
trying to complete our daily tasks, it may be going to school, going to work or
anything else that we are doing to survive, but one thing that is constant in
our lifetime is the Sun. Each day the Sun will rise and it will set no matter
what we do in between. Thank you to our Sun for making it possible for us to
exist, without you we would not be here.
Here are a few pictures that I have taken throughout these past few years. Of course these
pictures will not do justice to its beauty; witnessing the sunrise and sunset in
person is incomparable.
